January 17, 2019 by Arlin Buckley OTR Driver It is a great company to work for, I get home regularly and if I need time off they are accommodating, matter of fact this past week they sent me on a run to Arizona so that I could see my sister who I hadn't seen in 25 years. I was able to spend a day with her catching up on things. Everyone knows me by name(not a number) and treats me like I am a person. If I have a problem or issue they listen, if it can be fixed they fix it right away-they make me feel like I am part of the Sunset family, I highly recommend them

A West Michigan based company established in 2000, we are OTR, running all 48 states with 65+ trucks. We offer a $2,000 driver retention bonus. Our main area of travel is in the Virginias, Carolinas, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, and Southern California. The tractors are 2015 and newer Freightliners and Peterbilts. Trailers are 53' dry vans and step decks. Freight is general commodities, along with office furniture and water heater loads. 95% no touch freight and drop and hook. Average miles per week range from 3000-3500 for solos and 6500-7200 for teams.
