I thought I found the perfect driving job. But then the new wire off the shinny new penny and you could see what's underneath.. First there is the driver confirmation sheet. This little document is given to you after you sign on. And this little document. Makes you the employee responsible for travel expenses and hotel stays for orientation. If you decide it's not the job for you in the first 90 days. Basically it says you are responsible for travel expenses if you quit or they fire you In the first 90 days. Then there's the practical miles pay. Sure 48cents sounds okay. But then you run 2800 hundred miles and get paid for 2200. Now I know practical miles vary from hub mile but typically only 10-15% never ever had them run 25 to 30%. Then the 1200 guaranteed pay. That there are so many hoops to jump through very few people qualify for it. In fact the one week I did qualify for. It didn't matter because I exceeded the guarantee. Making it null and void. This is by far the worst place I've ever worked. I cannot state that fact enough. I've only had 4 trucking jobs and this place is by far the worst. This is the only company I left and made them come get their equipment. Because I truly felt and believe they would have left me stranded without a way home. So I did what I see felt necessary drove to the nearest truck stop near me. And told them to come get their truck. And I had my wife come pick me up. Never done that before. Hopefully will never have to again.

Liars and cheats,.. they keep your bonus, vacation and charge you 200 dollars when you quit. Cheap not well maintained equipment. Tim said drivers get “profit sharing”. I saw zero in two years. Do not come here to work, they got 50 trucks and can’t even keep those manned. They got minimal office staff and everything takes a meeting to get done. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE,WHY? #1 THEY ARE VERY VERY CHEAP. I'M TALKING IF YOU EVER WATCHED I LOVE LUCY & REMEMBER FRED MERTZ ETHEL'S HUSBAND THEN YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. THEY WILL ASK YOU HOW DO YOU WANT TO GET TO ORIENTATION BY BUS OR DO YOU WANT US TO SEE IF ONE OF OUR TRUCK DRIVERS CAN PICK YOU UP ORIENTATION IS 1 1/2 #2 THEY DON'T GIVE CASH ADVANCES. #3 THE EQUIPMENT IS CRAPPY THEY HAVE VOLVO'S & MACK TRUCK'S & THEY DON'T HAVE NOTHING NO ROOM FOR REFRIGERATOR IT'S A ONE BUNK SO I HAVE MY COLEMAN COOLER IN BETWEEN THE SEATS ON FLOOR & THE TRUCK IS SO SMALL I DON'T DARE PUT ANYTHING ELSE UP IN HERE. THE TRUCK IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH A JAKE BRAKE & MOST OF THE LOADS I HAUL WEIGH ANYWHERE FROM 42,000-43,000 lbs. YOU DON'T MAKE NO MONEY BECAUSE OF THE MILES I WAS HIRED ON & TOLD I WOULD AVERAGE 2500 A WEEK BUT I JUST BARELY MIGHT GET HALF THAT IF HALF SO MY CHECKS HAVE BEEN IN THE $400-300 RANGE BUT I'M GETTING 40 CPM MEANWHILE MY PHONE GETS TURNED OFF & ASKED FOR AN $80.00 CASH ADVANCE YOU KNOW CAUSE I NEED MY PHONE OUT HERE HAD TO DO A SONG & DANCE FOR THAT JUST TO GET MY PHONE ON WENT HOME FOR HOLIDAY & WAS IN HURRY TO GET OUT OF THE TRUCK I ACCIDENTALLY LEFT MY COOLER PLUGGED IN & IT DRAINED THE BATTERY SO I CALLED IN & THEY SENT A MECHANIC OUT THAT WAS TWO WEEKS AGO & SINCE I ASKED FOR $80.00 ADVANCE THEY WAS UPSET SO LATER ON I'M DRIVING GOING TO PICK UP A LOAD THE MAINTENANCE MAN CALLS ME & SAYS I SEE THAT OVER THE HOLIDAY YOU CALLED TO HAVE A MECHANIC COME OUT & JUMP START YOUR BATTERY WHAT HAPPENED? SO TOLD & HE TOLD ME THAT SINCE IT WAS YOUR FAULT YOU OWE US $285.00. THEY CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING LIKE YOU ARE LEASING THIS TRUCK FROM THEM & I'M NOT. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T COME TO WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE YOU WILL END UP IN THE POOR HOUSE & THEY'LL FIND A WAY TO TAKE THAT TOO.
