Lease driver

Stay as far away from this company as you can. Worked there 5 months and only took home $700(est) a week on average. Worked out of the Owensboro terminal and rarely ever pulled a load under 40,000#. Rarely ever did I get a dispatch over 600 miles. The maintenance program is a joke. Everything in this contract is in the company's favor. After I left I was sent a bill for unpaid road/fuel taxes - heavy vehicle tax and a charge to put someone else in the truck;total of over $586. If you are leasing on here you should get a "L" tattooed on your forehead because you will leave a loser.

God forbid you have an injury on the job

I had a injury on the job and had scheduled home time in order to see a dr. When the dr told me I would need surgery I scheduled it for the following week on his advice and called my dispatcher to explain to them that I would need to have surgery and recovery time. They told me it was in my best interest to give up my truck until i can get back on the rd. I told them that was fine. But I would be back in 4-5 weeks. They said it would be no problem and they would have someone come pick the truck up. They did not give me an option to be able to return this myself. this was 4 weeks ago. I just got a letter in my email stating I owe them over $4,000.00 to recover my truck. I found out they canceled my contract the day after I told them I will require surgery for an injury I had while working for this company and going through their type of workman's comp insurance. I decided to pull my DAC report and they put a notice on there for abandonment of a company vehicle! I was given no other options!! This company has now ruined my career. They are surely going to be hearing from my Lawyer.

Short Runs means not enough money

Recruiting Department told me that I would earn up to 1200.00 per week as a Lease Driver. The truth is - the company only has short runs that do Not add up to a good pay check. Before Taxes, I never earned more than 700.00. I had to go!
