- Charlotte, NCCDL-A Dry Bulk Truck Driver in Charlotte, NC - New pay increase - Tanker truck driver Average pay: $1,160-$1,425 weekly Home time: Every other week Experience: All CDL holders OVERVIEW * Haul 75% non-hazardous freight in tanker trailers. * Get home for three days every other weekend. * 3-5 loads per week. PAY AND BONUS POTENTIAL * Pay recently increased by up to $.04 per mile. * Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving. * Weekly performance pay. * Earn up to $0.03 more per mile by obtaining additional CDL certifications. * $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers. * $3,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers. * Paid orientation. * Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
