BE CAREFULL DRIVERS. The Manager at this flying j is busting drivers and the customers balls. He allows ripon Police to moniter the commercial and private vehicle from flying j facility. i got pulled over By USDOT as Soon as i Hit 99 North. The DOT said they were playing sling shot together With ripon PD under Cover parked in flying j facility, and the reason the ripon PD Radio'd the DOT coz my spare tire Chains were dangaling too low seemed like it was unsecured, Bull sh*t. my Chains were well secured. he still did a Level three inspection on the side office the Road. Hit me with log book and marker light citation. i called the flying j Manager told him that he was Trapping flying j loyal customers for the local pd and the cities financial gain, he said he thinks Most of the flying j customers as in the drivers are ex-cons and theives who come steal from his shop and his Mission is to put drivers behind Bars.
few weeks later i was at the Same flying j and i Saw One black driver paid for his coffee and some oatmeal and then went grab his stuff and walked out .the manager and the old indian guy Works in the coffee Section came running out demanding for a receipt from the Poor old black man accusing his of stealing. Manager even had the cashier call the cops. that when i interferred and vouched for the black guy that he did pay, i Said he paid ahead of time before he went grab the coffee and the food. i told the manager go check the video. Manager said no vince the coffee section care taker "the indian guy "caught this man stealing". it didnt take two Minutes for ripon PD to Show . i straight üp said damn what were you waiting in the corner of the street for the call . Cop answered no but this is a small town and this is the bussiest Part of the town so gives us something to Do around here. so we have four Patrol cars monitoring flying j and Loves area.
they the PD checked the camera and let the old black man go.
CAN YOU BELIEVE KINDA SH*T HOLE THIS IS. WOW. UNBELIVABLE. A-HOLES LIKE THIS LIVE IN CALIFORNIA.

Their policy is to allow a toyota sequoia to park legaly in the truck parking area because she had a cdl in her possession. And the truck could pull 9000 lbs. . Isn't there an rv area in all most all flying j truck plazas??? To the manager doesn't the vehicle not the driver have to be commercial? No commercial plate then should be in auto area! Even the commercial rv pullers use the front lot!
