I fuel at Pilot/FJ all the time. I stoped at this one so I can air up my trailer tires. There is no Air in the Fuel Islands No Water in Fuel Islands, can't even wash your windshield. I walk inside to ask where the Air is at. The cashier/manager says they don't have any air for trucks, and its not her responsibility to make sure there's water to wash windows with. .. This is a fuel stop not a truck stop. I Will not be stopping at this location again. If your having a bad day stay at home. Don't take it out on the customers.

This is a nice "sorta halfway" point between the Quad Cities and Des Moines. Restroom facilities are decent. Convenience store has a wide array of items, mostly geared towards truckers. Subway restaurant inside with small seating area.

A lot of parking, fills up kinda quick though. My "freshly cleaned" shower had a stong smell of body odor. The manager quickly got me a different shower. Customer service is good, the main facility seems fairly clean, the showers are modern. The downsides being the fact that my shower was very clearly, not clean (the second shower, was.) There are all of five showers available, and no driver lounge. Typical pilot.
