July 29, 2024 AVOID S&S at all cost!I worked OTR here for four years and two years too many. Company was good at first but then I started sitting more and more because they couldn’t find loads or they could but wouldn’t accept the rate so they’d rather pay the driver $100 layover and have the driver take a loss. Just recently management cancelled our satellite tv service and went to the CHEAPEST streaming service that they could get with about 15 minutes of hotspot a day. Then they tell you, you can purchase your own programming if you want. Many people have quit or just walked out of the place in the last 18 months because there is so much TENSION and MISERY in the office. They must have serious financial problems. The owner sits and stares at his computer screen all day looking like Jack Nicholson on his typewriter in the terror movie the “Shining” with his coward son sitting in the office next to him that’s not qualified. The other “owner” is more concentrated on playing with his race cars and has a foul disposition. The worst part of the office is the safety director/ “ENFORCER” this woman hobbles around on a cane all day with a stone-cold scowl on her mug looking for whom she can scold. This place also holds back raises at any given excuse. There are a lot of good trucking companies out there with deep pockets and integrity but this place isn’t one of them. |

April 16, 2021 A great fit.Let me start by saying there is no job, no employer, and no employee that is perfect, but if someone wants to work, manages their clock, and is available for dispatch, S & S Transport is a great fit. I started at S & S Transport in September of 2012 as an over-the-road driver and currently I am on a dedicated route. My dispatchers have always worked to make sure I get the miles I want and the home time I need. The in-house shop always gets the service and repairs done on my truck in a timely manner to keep me running and available to dispatch. S & S Transport offers a very good pay and benefit package. The trucks are well equipped Kenworth T680’s and Freightliner Cascadia’s with the largest sleepers available, refrigerators, APU’s, bunk heat and air conditioning, power inverters, satellite dish and flat screen TV’s, and CB radios. Through family tragedies and illnesses, the staff at S & S Transport was understanding, accommodating, and compassionate. S & S Transport is a great fit for me, and I will, likely, be here until my retirement. |

April 07, 2021 Driver otrThis is an awesome company to work for. The equipment is top of the line and they know you by name. You aren’t just a number. Family atmosphere and great loads. I can’t say enough great things about this company. |

April 07, 2021 Outstanding family owned company!I transitioned from the US Air Force, December 2012 to work for this fantastic family owned company. I’m a regional driver with a family. Home weekends. Whenever life’s impossible situations arise the family here at S&S always rises overcome the challenges. Be well, friends. |

March 30, 2021 Company driverI've been with s&s for almost 2 years and I can honestly say this is the best company I've ever been with (I started driving in 1987). As a solo female driver I am treated with the utmost respect and am given the miles and treated just like any of the male drivers. The equipment is great and they have satellite and the Sunday ticket in every truck, no charge to you! As a diehard football fan I love it. Trucks also come with flat screen tv"s, refrigerators and cb"s. They never fight you on hometime and are all about family. You can't go wrong with s&s |
