February 22, 2021 Amazing how much they care about driversI work as a contractor for Simon and I'm amazed at how invested they are in their drivers' well being. For example, the first Christmas I was there, they had an all-team huddle trying to figure out how to get one driver home for Christmas as they had promised. After 15 minutes trying to work out different routes, they were stuck. Lyn (the owner) had enough and instructed the team to get the driver an Uber to the airport and a plane ticket ASAP so he could have time with his family. Another time, a team member cared for a driver's dog for a week when he needed to fly out to see his parents. There are plenty more examples like those. Everyone truly cares about the drivers at ST. |
