I love Landstar, I hate their compliancy and safety departments. There is no grey area and they lack compassion in certain departments. I had the freedom to make the choices I wanted - when, where, what I wanted to haul.

I like the fact that I'm my own boss, I pick all my own loads, I go where I want, when I want. The pay used to be better, they could treat us a bit better. Overall okay company.

Great pay, work your own schedule, I have never had pay problems with them. They take care of their operators. If I broke down, they assist with getting me back on the road with good financial support. The customer serrvice there is great as well.
