Tanker Truck Driving Jobs in Massachusetts

Massachusetts jobs driving tanker trucks, commonly known as tanks, are a crucial occupation because it involves transporting liquid goods such as milk, gasoline, water, chemicals, and concrete. Some shipped materials are explosive or hazardous and tank operators must first pass an inspection with a law enforcement official present and take an exam. Before driving a tanker truck you must also first have special training to avoid safety issues because these type of freight are especially prone to turning over. Tanker trucks are usually cylinder shaped and can usually hold 5,500 to 11,600 gallons per freight. Sometimes, these types of trucking assignments require frequent small trips.
