There's plenty of parking however might as well go to McDonald's and get food if you get the fried chicken it will be burned and dry and mashed potatoes have a lemon flavor to them the baked potato will be hard and under cooked plates at the salad bar will be dirty as well the store is nice though
We stayed the night here in our travel trailer. We took a spot from a bob tail. They take up a lot of the car parking but we found room. There is a very nice area to walk our dogs. The restaurant and the facilities were very clean. The buffet we had was very good. It was decorated very nicely. Staff were very friendly.
One of the worst experiences at a TA. The Country Pride restaurant should be ashamed. Rolled in late last night around 10 pm after 11hours driving. Hungry, tired, just needed a decent meal before hitting the sleeper. Usually can get a good late breakfast at these places, but not last night! Service was slow, took awhile to get waited on. Ordered a simple breakfast... Eggs over easy, hash browns, toast. Took forever to get it and then it was HORRIBLE! I didn't know anyone could eff up something that simple! Everything was literally doused with butter or grease and the cook used a ton of salt on everything including the toast! I mean, really? My eggs were still raw, too runny to eat. My hash browns were dripping in grease, they had a puddle of grease under them on the plate, yet they were over-cooked! Toast was burned on the edges and dripping with grease in the middle. To look at it made me gag. Server never came back to see if the food was OK. I didn't eat it After tasting it and gagging. Food is important to a trucker, we don't get to eat very often so when we get time to do so, we should be able to expect good, hot, EDIBLE meals! As for the rest of the TA, the whole place is dirty; the store, the tiny little bathrooms, all of it. Disgusting place. We should have gone to the Hess across the road. There is a Perkins there, I bet I could have gotten a good breakfast there.
