There is a local who poses as a driver at least that is the impression when he woke me up in the middle of the morning. He wanted $12 for a gal. of oil. A dead give away a gal. of oil is more than $12. The last time I stop by I seen him on the lot wearing a Sunday's best hat. He's black about 6" regular not a big guy. And for me to identified him as black does not make a racist.

Showers were clean, great pressure , Steak N Shake needs to get rid of those damn pesky flies. Lots of them on the walls on tables on ceiling everywhere it's really just gross. Huge parking lot is a welcome rarely fills up. One last thing watch out for the pan handers " can I get some change " Ah No but you can get a job !!!!!

Actually nice BUT they have regulars that hit up customers for food at steak n shake. Employees told us these same two guys show up every day. I complained to corporate. A big black guy is the one that got us. We don't mind buying someone a meal if they need it..but this guy insisted we buy him a triple burger, fries and an oreo milkshake! LOL gotta laugh about it now..oh yeah after that he was hitting up everyone pumping gas for money. One more thing..the employees know who he is and where he lives!!

GREAT water pressure for you trucker, like myself. Enormous parking lot. I showed up at 11:30 P.M. and in a matter of five minutes, was parked and in the shower. The ladies at the counter were very friendly in showing me where the kios was. You have steak and shake and subway to choose for food. Was def. Worth the 35 minute drive from the other pilot. That had no parking.

(traveling w/ boyfriend-5axle)...enormous parking lot, plenty of showers but small waiting area, women's restroom was a little messy but acceptable, attendants very courteous and clean food areas.
