Arkansas reefer truck driving jobs are a great way to join a lucrative occupation. Reefer trucks, also known as refrigerated vehicles dominated the road with approximately 5.5 million on the road in 2012. And, as the population increases, the need for reefer truckers increases. These vehicles transport perishable goods through the process of ice chilling, dry-ice (carbon dioxide as a cooling agent), or by the help of refrigerated systems. This trucking job typically requires longer lengths of travel though than some other commercial truck careers. However, there is also more responsibility but generally higher salaries in this division as well.
