Arizona Reefer Truck Driving Jobs are careers operating trucks that transport perishable food items and offer opportunities making a higher salary than drivers in some other commercial driving jobs. However, this is because driving reefer trucks require longer distances of travel typically and a greater general sense of responsibility. The job outlook for refrigerator truck driving is positive though because as the population continues to grow the demand for food transport increases accordingly. Reefer vehicles are cooled by means of ice chilling, dry-ice (carbon dioxide as the cooling agent), or with the help of a refrigerated system. There were about 5.5 million of these trucks out there in 2012.
