About the Job
If you are looking to start your career as a professional driver, look no further than CFI. Not only do we offer several ways for you to obtain your Class-A commercial driver’s license (CDL), but we also provide a place you can call home for the duration of your career.
The close relationship between fleet supervisors and professional drivers helps make sure professional drivers have everything they need to be successful. Our open-door policy makes professional drivers feel comfortable communicating issues before they become problems.
Tuition Options
Tuition Reimbursement:
If you’re working toward obtaining your CDL to begin your driving career at CFI, we’ll make your monthly tuition payments for the first 12 months of employment and then pay off the remainder of your tuition, up to $5,000 in total.
Company-paid Tuition:
With a 12-month commitment to drive for CFI, qualified students will receive fully paid tuition to attend driving school in Missouri. We’ll even cover your room and board for the duration of the four-week course.

• Average 118,800 miles a year
Sign-On Bonus $1,000.00 for Qualified Solo Drivers

In order to drive for CFI, Drivers must meet the folowing criteria
21 years of age or older, with a Class A commercial driver’s license
Reside within the CFI hiring area
Have the right to work and live in the United States
Tractor-trailer driving experience - Or straight out of an approved school
No BACs, DUIs, DWIs or license suspensions for moving violations in the past five years***
HAZMAT endorsement or willingness to obtain a HAZMAT endorsement within 120 days of hire
Ability to meet work attendance and availability requirements and all applicable legal and DOT regulations to drive a commercial truck in the United States and Canada
Ability to pass all applicable CFI certification class testing and requirements
