You can\u2019t be a good truck driver unless you can actually become a truck driver. Know the basic requirements to become a driver<\/a> (like being 21 years old if you want to drive interstate), get your Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL), and complete the training needed to hit the road.<\/p>\n

2. Self-motivated.<\/h3>\n

You\u2019ll be on the road by yourself quite a bit.
